New guitar.....

I have $350 to spend on a new guitar. I need something that will hold up, sounds good for pop-punk, and is not a strat shape. My choices are Epiphone Dot Studio and a Squier Jagmaster 2. I just want to know which one is overall better for my style and also which duncans are in the squier. Any other suggestions will be helpful. Thank you.

Those Jagmaster II's look pretty freakin' sweet though.

I'd dump cash into one, change the pickups, and tune it down a half step.
