Are going to be here today! I'll post some pics of both when they arrive, I actually am going to be customizing both of the guitars. like stripping off the finish and re painting on one, and something special on the other. Unless of course they look totally amazing like they are, or if the one that doesn't say anything is worth like a lot. mg:

Two new project guitars in a day? Sweet deal my friend... I'm jealous. Now I need to find another project so I can have a NGD myself... It's been to long.

Haha, I really can't wait. Is there a project section? Or is that just here? I'll be posting pictures of one of them step by step as I do it, and the other I'm gonna just do and post some pictures when it's done.

They've just arrived here, I'll open the box up in a but and post some pics!

I know the pictures aren't great, I cna get some pics of specific parts of the guitars if someone asks. (Sorry it took so long, couldn't find out how to post pics)

Also, the neck on the Hondo looks slightly twisted, but the other one looks fine. I'll be bringing them to my local guitar shop on Thursday, just to see what they say about them.

Is it just me or does the one on top look like it's a shorter scale length? Either way cool guitars man! Have you found anything on the no name one yet?

The one on top looks like it has a smaller neck. but actually measures to be a wee bit bigger. Yet it has 25 frets instead of 21 like the one on the bottom. How does one measure scale length? Sorry I'm so noobish when it comes to guitars.

Accutune is most likely the brand of bridge if I had to guess. To measure scale length you measure from the very front of the nut to the middle of the fret wire on the 12th fret. Take that measurement and double it. That's your scale length. Common lengths are 25.5" for strats/teles and 24.75" for Gibson's.

The one on top seems to be 24.5" and the one on the bottom seems to be 25.5" if they sound about right.

25.5" is a fender scale length. I don't know of any guitars that have a 24.5" scale length... maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in?

I would think the locking nut has thrown the measurement off by 1/8 of an inch
probably 24.75

Alright, thanks for the info! Do you know what the guitar might be? I looked at the pickups and the humbucker on the hondo looks kinds nasty, with the tape on it and stuff. The other one looks like it was spray painted but overall it looks fine.

Thanks allbutromeo!!!! Yeah I noticed it was painted over with black. The whole thing was originally red.
