New Guy, Phat Cats installed

Hey all!

I just wanted to share my last two projects. The last one was an Ovation Viper with a wood veneer pickguard and a rewire using the Phat Cat pups and 500k pots (.047 cap). I used the schematics found here and it worked out great!

Prior to that I refinished a Deacon 12 string and used the Phat Cats. Working through Customer Service I got Hamer to wire it up for me. Using loose justification I consider this guitar to be the "05" release of the Deacon 12 string!

Literally!

Ovation had a habit of calling in Artists and Designers to Brain-storm their shapes, sizes and decorative works - because they weren't entrenched in the "What a guitar should look like" world. The Deacon/Breadwinner design is literally an "Axe" and I believe is not only good looking but it is ergonomic as well.

Original Deacons came with an Active high output set of pups. Thirty years can take it's toll on electronics but these one-piece bodies are made of incredible Mahogany.
