A friends band uses Hiwatts on tour and in 2003 they went thru 3 Hiwatt heads in a week... Crazy little cheap bad Caps i heard was the issue back then but they have since fixed the trouble.. but then last week during a tour they plugged in a brand new Bass head and it died mid song during the show....
Has anyone else heard of any issues with new Hiwatts breaking down or is this just isolated....... they are expensive heads and to plug a new head in and lose 3 in a row was not good.... but then plugging in the bass head just bought back memories
