New Ibanez wiring? How can I do this?

Hello. I noticed that some of the new Ibanez models have a 5 way switch wiring that I've never seen before. It's for guitars with 2 humbuckers. The 2nd position but puts the neck pickup parallel instead of the normal split thing.

Here's one of the guitars: http://ibanez.com/eg/guitar.aspx?m=RG420CM

1. Neck
2. Neck (parallel)
3. Both humbuckers
4. Both humbuckers (inner coils)
5. Bridge pickup

I can't find wiring schematics for this (except for on Ibanez's site, but I couldn't make sense of it because it had no color code or labels. Now their site won't even load the diagram anymore).

Does anyone know how to wire this?
Thanks

Hermetico Thanks for that wiring diagram. I agree with you this is one of the best ways to wire 2 humbuckers. I really love the tone of the 2 & 4 the positons. Ibanez uses a a cort made propritey switch I think. And i would always love to have this wiring in the future too. I currently use it in my SA120 with the original Ibanez switch.

All the wiring diagrams for all Ibanez guitars in 90s were on their web site, showing you how to achieve the same wiring.

Download the schematic for one of the guitars with Dimarzio 4-conductor pickups, and do a wire color conversion. Their switch is actually high quality and have the beneift of being shorter. The dimarzio multipole switch doesnt fit in all guitars.

I know that but all that wiring cannot be done following the schematic that Ibanez provides except with the same switch that Ibanez provides in the guitar.. I got the scematics u r talking about from Ibanez, it is a very diff schematic from the one heremetico has shown using a Super Switch.. though the same switching options are acheived.
