New Modified Guitar Day

Before I forget, was putting to good use some free time I had, took my Silverburst Telecaster, and added a humbucker in the middle position. The folks at WD Music supplied the pickguard, wired up a 5-way switch (Strat style), and voila! Now I know some of you do not like the thought of a middle humbucker in any guitar, my pickhand rests between the middle and bridge pickup, so it causes no issue for me at all.

I never could get used to middle pickups, because my pick ALWAYS hits the pole pieces.

I like the silverburst. It looks really good on a Tele.

Thanks, it was one of the reasons I bought it, it just looked really cool....Sounds like a Les paul rather than a Tele now.....

Yeah, I like what humbuckers do for them.
