New mp3 in the works

Well, I finally decided to start recording one of my band's originals. I haven't recorded the whole song yet, there's about a minute left to lay down, including a couple of lead breaks. I'll add them as soon as I remember the drum parts haha. Check it out.

Oh, and there are definitely vocals, but I'm not the singer (for good reason) nor do I have a mic. I thought the double tracking turned out well, maybe a tad too hot though. We're a dual guitar band actually, so it won't be impossible to pull off .

Finished song, at least guitar/drum-wise Alright, I finished laying down all the guitar tracks. No bass or vocals yet, I'm the only band member in town right now. I think everything is mixed pretty well for the most part, the leads could probably stand to be a bit louder, but not too bad. This is just me running through my rack into my PC, and the drums are from FruityLoops.

The distortion on the chorus's need to be a bit louder imo, or maybe double track them to fill it out more

yea double track the guitars. add the vocals on the final mix.

i really enjoyed this one, great feel throughout the song

Yeah that was good piece of music. I would also say, try to double the guitar track. With a vocal track it´s got to be an excellent song.

Not really my cup of tea, song-wise. Sonically, since it's all temporary, I don't have any sonic comments.
