YEP!! I have a Patriot Custom and LOVE that guitar!! If I had any sense and ever get realistic about my abilities, Id sell everything else I have and just keep that one. Its a great guitar and AMAZING considering the price! The stock pups in mine were Rockfields and they were even pretty darn good for "stock". Unless I buy a guitar the already has Duncans (or another reputable brand), I always change pups. I still have the stock neck pup in it. I changed the bridge pup mostly just for flavor and not need. (Rio BBQ) I was impressed when I opened the control cavity and saw how tidy everything was and even the wires were all ziptied real neat. The only thing Id change would be a 4 knob setup, cuz thats what I prefer, but thats just preference. will try to put up a pic in a few min.

Before the Patriots came out, Dean made a guitar called the EVO. The way the neck joins the body is identical. In fact, there are a lot of similarities between the two. I suspect they were/are made in the same factory overseas with near identical specs (only the headstocks being vastly different.) Not that it's a bad thing. The EVOs were awesome.

I see that the low enders are averaging about $250 used. They look pretty sweet so I'm bidding on a higher end
one now.
