I recommend buying used.
1) Unless you live in the Western Isles of Scotland, you will be within reasonable travelling distance of a either qualified amp technician or a Marshall dealership (or both). The money that you save compared to buying brand new should easily cover any shipping and bench costs that arise.
2) If you have auditioned a specific example that you like, buy that one.
3) As a Fender Hot Rod DeVille 410 owner, I understand the appeal of 60w RMS into 4x10s.
