New original lick I came up with

This lick is one I came up with after literally jamming in this scale for years. This is what happens when you don't learn lead the traditional way. I didn't know what the scale was until about a week ago when I put the notes in a scale finder, and found out it is an Eight Tone Spanish scale.
I'm using my PRS SE Torero that I put Seymour Duncan pickups in. In this clip I'm using a SH-1 '59n which I modified by installing an Alnico 4 magnet. I'm also using a Digitech Bad Monkey overdrive as a boost, and my Blackstar HT-20 head. Recorded with an Ipod Touch.

Given the source material, the gain tone is quite smooth. Would sound nice with a harmony on there.

Definitely considering it.
And yes, the Blackstar is not capable of much else other than smooth, which is part of the reason I'm thinking of replacing it.

I should also mention that the tubes are old, I've been meaning to install the new ones I already bought. I haven't changed them since I got the amp in 2011.
