New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
Here is my 2nd pedalboard build:

Nothing fancy. All wood/glue construction

I still need to add power to it. I have a strip I'll be putting on the back.

Here is the pedal line up. I'll be using this for the 80's metal band.

In signal chain order:

Into front of amp -
Crybaby Wah
Planet Waves Tuner
[amp switch clean/OD OD1/OD2]
Metal Muff [on/off Boost; AKA Channels 4 & 5, or OD3/OD4 when Marshall is on clean]
Micro Amp - boost for solos

In the Loop -
Behringer Vintage Phaser (custom paint) Phaser - don't use it. Just in case.
Washburn Chorus - for leads
Digitech Chorus Factory (set to TC Chorus) - General rhythm Chorus
Washburn Flanger - again, just for fun….I like to hit that for the part in the middle of Nothing But A Good Time for epic-ness.
Boss RV-3 - Short Delay
Boss DD-3 - Long Delay

I'm going to make another board and put all the dirt plus some more on one, and all the swirl etc on another.

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

Surprised to see a metalmuff from you Aceman, especially for an 80's band (I'm assuming hair metal?). Old guitarist had one in front of his marshall, couldn't ever get it to sound good...even usable for that matter.

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

The Chemistry is cool but PedalTrain has been my go-to board for about ten years. They're lightweight, reasonably priced, and tough as heck.

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

My toys (Partial set-up) still have to re-arrange pedals and get them connected.

I don't expect to use it. But it sure is fun!

I don't have any trouble getting a useable Pantera sound out of it!

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

By the way Zeuss; Zone/Muff/Zone

Is THAT really necessary?????? How do you use those?

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

I took U-bolts and fastened my pedals to the trunk lid from an old Miata.

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

Actually both of those zones are modded! And now I ha e it zone zone muff the first zone is modded with germanium diodes so its for my light fuzz sounds the second is just a mod to make it useable that's for my nice overdrive sound obser my tele and the muff is for my drop b tuner ibanez

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

And the germanium zone makes a great boost pedal for both of the following pedals

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

While on the topic of pedalboards, sorry to hijack the thread Ace, but is anyone selling a Pedaltrain PT-2 by chance? I'm in the market to buy one.

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

Now that I made one of these, I'd NEVER buy one.

This was too easy/chap to build exactly how I want.

Re: New Pedal means I need a new Pedalboard!

^^^ agreed I love the way mine came out and it really only took a couple hours or work and like $30 - $40 that's with heavy duty velcro and it wouldn't take much to make a bigger one if needed
