It's a Bad Monkey.


With the gain past 12, it loses this nasal TS gain and becomes uber smooth and absolutely beautiful. It's cheap too. I used to have one so this one is welcome back in the bunch! I use it as a standalone channel (on clean) with a little bass and treble boost or as a boost for my other OD/Distortion or on the distortion channel.

Also it's got two outputs, so I can run my two Laneys in stereo

I love my Bad Monkey. Its my favorite distortion box. The simple fact that it has separate bass and treble knobs gives it a lot of versatility.

Very tiny little analogue components yes. So no modding. But it sounds good enough Try it out dude. It's hard to not be able to find a useable sound out of this bugger.
