New Pedals !!!

PUCKBOY99

Traded away my H&K Replex for.......

RGW Electronics Dirty Dan & Lovepedal Karl

WOW !!!!

Took me about 2 minutes to get the Dirty Dan(based on the Way Huge Red Llama) paired up perfectly with the Bad Bob & Blackstone on my board.

FANTASTIC would be an understatement!!!

It puts the word "LUSH" to shame :11:

I need to play with the Karl a bit to get it right, but the Mrs. came home & cut it short. :D

Here's the set-up, if ya' care:

Blackstone 2Sv3 OD
Lovepedal Karl fuzz
RGW Bad Bob Boost
RGW Dirty Dan OD
Sweet Sounds MoFaux vibe
Diamond Compressor
Diamond Memory Lane delay

Running to Startouch A/B to 2 channels of a Tophat King Royale (AC-30 type amp)

And a Startouch A/B/Y to the KR (SOON-Weber Alnico Blue Dogs) & a Celtic Edana (JTM45 clone w/KT66s...G12H30/V30).

WOW....now if only I could play !!!!! :smack:

Re: New Pedals !!!

Man, I wish I would have bought Way Huge pedals back when the price was normal, and they were still in business. I'm glad you're buying all these OD's, so I know who to ask now.

So....out of all the pedals you've had this past 5 years, which 3 are the standouts? If you can, list all of the ones you've had so far!

Re: New Pedals !!!

Somehow, I knew you'd appreciate this thread :D

Honestly, I don't think I've come across any bums....just some that worked better with the amps I use the most.

One that I really liked but traded for a better piece of gear was the Plexitone. But I get those tones out of the Tophat Emplexador, so I guess that was a wash.

The current lineup really suits me well. They all clean up nicely with the guitars volume knob, which is a major plus for me.

The Karl I'll need a little more time with. It's a very warm fuzz, which I like...but the 2 knobs are very interactive; just need to get the proper mix with the others.

The true "diamond" here is the Diamond Memory Lane. I really liked the Replex delays, but this thing makes it seem like a toy. NO COMPARISON !!!

I'm gonna sit down one of these days & make a list of the pedals I've gone thru & make some notes for each.

The scary thing is there are still a LOT out there that I wanna try :beerchug:
