New Pickup Time Help Me Choose

Les Paul Studio w/ebony fretboard. Will be used for a variety of music but mainly metal and soloing. I'm thinking PAF Pro in the neck but not sure. What are your suggestions?

Fullshred in the bridge, Schaller Golden 50s in the neck.


You have loads of cut from the bridge, and it works for both soloing and rhythm, and you have the fat warm tone of the golden 50s in the neck.

Full Shread sounds good. How about those pickup covers? Can they be taken off and put on any pickup or do you have to buy them like that?

ive heard people saying you can take them off with a soldering iron if you know what you are doing so my guess is you can take them off and put them on as you see fit
