During my research, I've seen some people saying that they like the Toneriders AC4 better than SD 59's. And curiously, it's an Alnico 4 set.

You said that your favorite is a4/a4. I just said i've seen other people liking a4 pickups better than stock a5 as well.

I feel kinda stupid saying thing only just now, because it only just occurred to me, but I'm more of a rhythm guitarist, who plays some tasteful licks and parts than someone who shreds. I know that makes a difference in the pickups I choose.
Sethlovers, WHL, Pearly gates, etc.

A4 neck, UOA5 bridge. Personally, I'd go roughcast for the A4, but others may advise differently.
