new pickups

i just pit my new pickups in my peavey raptor.SH-12 George Lynch Screamin Demon Humbucker at the bridge
SVR-1 Vintage Rails in the Mid and Little 59er at the neck for the Strat. and let me tell the sound is awsome i love it. its a good set up.

I've never tried an SD, but I have had a Lil 59 and VR in a Strat before. Great pups.

To me, a Vintage Rails is like a traditional strat pickup - wearing a tux. It has the basic tone, but smoother, quieter, and more refined. Its a class act.

What type of music does it sound best with? What pedals do you use with it? I'm in search of a good setup like this for like weezer type sounds...

The Vintage Rails is gives you a smoother bright sound thats awsome and with the lil 59er its more awsome then ever!!! i dont know if it would be good for weezer type sounds or not. but i know its awsome with Lynyrd Skynyrd Guns N' Roses AC/DC Eagles Country blues stuff like!!!
