Actually, I'd buy less stuff that's premium quality, rather than a house-full of Guitar Center's "Biggest Sale Ever" merchandise. :laugh2:

Yeah, that's just accumulation for it's own sake. No vintage gear to speak of, either. Definitely a child of the 80s. If I had that kind of cash, I'd be buying vintage and boutique.

Haha, remember that Guitar Player retrospective issue, where they made fun of his 'bathrobe' Hamer ad?

I saw Living Colour for the Stain tour and he had two monster (6 feet plus) racks and one about four feet high. His pedalboard was so big it needed two wings off each side. Crazy.

Flourescent lycra bike pants are gonna be back in any moment now...

Im glad i dont need all of that stuff. So far what i want is a guitar that can go into a 3 channel amp (clean, metal rhythm and lead). I suppose my tuner would be in there, with wah etc, oh the list goes on!

According to what he said in the thread, alot of that gear is for testing and backup, since he doesn't keep his gig rig at home.

If he needs to keep that much for backup, I would assume he gigs alot.

Either that, or he might be some kind of session guitarist, and he has all that gear because he needs to be able to sound like almost anything....
