New Precision Guitar Kit just arrived!!

Well after 20 weeks my LP from PGK has arrived here in the UK from Canada.

I'm absolutely over he moon with it. They finished it in-house for me and the quality is staggering for the money and genuinely knocks spots of any Gibson offerings I've seen lately.

It has a 60's slim taper neck, jescar frets, contoured heel and belly cut.

It's love at first sight for this mojo minion!

Do these need much fretwork done once the hardware & electronics are installed? I could see me doing one of these but not if I have to level & crown a bunch of frets.

That looks gorgeous. Love the heel contour. You're gonna love it when you have it all together. I have a SG Jr from them. Would easily do another kit. Just can't justify it right now.

I'm fully erect for this guitar. I love the sorta Sienna burst color, I love the super subtle flame going on, I love the color and the grain on the back. I really cannot wait to see this thing completed.

Love it! Especially the heel. What a great job they did. What pickups do you plan to put in it?

DankStar; the frets are all done, leveled, smooth and even.

Canada? I thought PGK was US-based..?

Anyway, that's besides the point. That is one seriously amazing looking LP.

Hope the rest of the assembly and all that goes well!

OMG!!!

That is seriously one of the nicest/sexiest LPs that I have ever seen. Love the color...great burst job! The grain in the maple top is sooo nice...some flame, but nicely understated.

I swear I don't need any more guitars, but the gas I'm getting from that is killing me.

After years of searching for the right V to no avail, I've pretty much decided that I am gonna make it from one of their kits. Looking at that paint job, I might just have them do the paint too! Was the neck being set included in the price of the paint job, or did you have to pay extra for it?

The neck being glued and set was included within the price.
