New project guitar

So, my friend has a epi custom, white, hes gona trade me for some of my wifes dirty underwear. Im gonna remove the headstock and replace it with my gibson studio stock, then I will get a custom overlay off ebay (maybe today) and get that on there. I will then have a worthy heavy instrument.

Should i be that worried about the headstock angle?
I mean if Im not concerned with that, I dont need to cut up my studio. But, remember accuracy is paramount.

Absolutely! what you want to do is to make a clean 90 degree cut right behind the nut. Then drill two holes for dowels and dowel the thing together straight, like a Fender. You'll have to get some string trees, but they look pretty cool anyway. OH crap, I almost forgot....make sure you use plenty of GORILLA GLUE...the best glue on the planet!
