Yep, thye man was a top drummer, listen to the great groove he gets going on Superstition, which is hime playing drums, keys, bass, singing...come to think of it I think it's just the brass he doesn't actually play.
The man's a genius.

Stevie played drums on a large number of his tracks, especially around the "Innervisions," "Talking Book," "Songs in the Key of Life" era. He has a style all his own and deserves the title of musical genius.
