Well I finally did it, I've completed my first gig worthy rig. Phil_104 and I went out last night and bought a new amp head and cab to complement the bass I'm playing now and let me tell you I couldn't be happier. I spend a decent penny on the set, not only because I wanted quality but also because I wanted to be able to push through the mix if and when necessary, and this bad boy definitely does that.
The head is the Dynabass400H-400w solid state with tube pre-amp. It has all sorts of different possible settings, including a pretty decent onboard distortion. The cab is a TC210 closed back and it pushes a mighty wind. At this point the only thing missing is the single 15" under it but that will have to wait.
Anyways I just wanted to post because I'm proud of my purchase and wanted to share with your guys! Now back to playing with my EQ and settings!
