New Rig day

Simplified my Sunday gig. The 65 pound pedal board, plus the 100 watt Marshall head, and whatever speaker cabinet, plus a guitar. It was just getting to be too much! So I decided to downsize. This thing plus a DI is perfect for that gig. We have in ear monitors, I have an iPad to mix my monitors, and it sounds just great. It's a little sad to have absolutely no tubes in my signal path. It's definitely a different experience for me.

Re: New Rig day

that's one hell of a difference from the old rig. I can definitely see that making things a lot easier.

Re: New Rig day

It's incredible to me that this is comparable, and probably superior, with respect to efficiency, to your old setup. And it probably sounds just fine! As a wise man once said to me, it will be better than good -- it will be done! :)

Re: New Rig day

I do like the idea of a small all in one unit with the few good effects. I only use overdrive and delay with my band so something like this does seem neat. Great for gigs where you want to pack light. That said, I already have a small set up at the ready

Re: New Rig day

Sovtek just sold this week...

I just found my CabTone DI, it will likely just complete the set.
