Looking forward to hearing the Lava Box Evan.
It is nice that SD is in tune with how musicians actually use their gear. I am alluding to the practice of using the volume pot to control distortion.

Thanks wixed. Well, we're all musicians around here, so that's how we use it. Gr8, we should have a video demo on the website in a month or two.

Wow! coming from the Vice President of the SD company,I'm like speechless Evan,but I'm just another person on an otherwise wonderful forum with wonderful people! And I'm happy! I'd say about 90% of all the pickups I use in several guitars are SD pickups Evan! :bigthumb: :beerchug:

I have to ask... when are you folks coming out with some amps... again!
Seriously, a small, simple tube amp sounds like something SD could do and take out anything in competition...
I digress, looks cool, would love to try it, but first I have to get my hands on a SFX3. Don't you folks dare discontinue that! I got enough of that from Fender already :laugh2:

great work as always Evan, we are all looking forward to what SD has in store for us guitar/bass players int he future. I too am going to be picking up one of these lava boxes as soon as it comes out.

Actually, I just finished doing a voice over-narration for a British video production called Strat Masters. I'll reveal more about that project in The Guitar Shop in the next couple of weeks.
