If I remember correctly, take the saddle out, mount it in a vise, add a tiny file, follow up with an old string slathered with valve grinding compound. Of course, I could just not top-wrap, but then where's the fun?

What are these Braveheart guitars?

It's a Warmoth guitar that got Christened 'Braveheart' by the guys at the 'Unofficial Warmoth' forum. As far as I know, it was one of only two they did using that kind of finish; I have one and one of the Warmoth employees has the other, though theirs was done in crushed brass/bronze rather than the crushed steel you see here. I voted Brave heart for the being Unique. I normally love Burst and clear finishes. The Hammer, Heritage and Greco were close.

I've voted for Jessie's Epi Custom because I remember the thread he had running when he was removing the finish. If someome told me they were going to strip 1/4" of Poly/resin/whatever modern finish from a guitar, ....well .... normally i'd expect them to start, give up and turn the guitar into a crappy relic job or abandon it altogether. Particularly a guitar with neck and body binding. So to me, that complete process adds a whole other dimension to the guitar and it's story. So a difficult task that was documented here with a fantastic outcome is something i can relate to.

But all the guitars in contention are very cool indeed.

I can't make up my mind between Jessies window frame or CRguti's. Decking and floors are out for me and chairs distract.

OH MAN......I've got it narrowed down to 10 choices........Uh......three choice! So if you add 1, 3 ,and 10 together you get 14, and then subtract the 1 from the 4 you get 3. So I'm going with Chris's Braveheart! And that's final....unless I look at the pics again....

It was a tough one, I love Les Pauls! I had to go with Braveheart as well, that guitar is a legend and the better of the two that exist IMO
