New single from my band.

Re: New single from my band.

We had an old (discontinued) Hartke through the 2x10 and pushed it with a bit of ODB-3. It was split into that and a vintage, locally made (called an Abbey) bass head for pure, warm and clean low end through the Session cab with the 1x15 Kappa. The 2x10 had a couple of mics and the 1x15 had a 52 and a sub bass on it. Last of all, we also ran a DI with just a hair into the final mix for detail.

I'm not a music critic or any golden-ear producer person, but my measly two cents as a passive listener: The sample of the single sounded really good. Sounded well-produced in that I could always hear each individual part and focus on any part of the music I wanted to. The song sounded nicely crafted too. The riff stayed in my head after the sample ended. That's a part of what makes a good song to me - I can remember how it goes afterward and get attached to it.
