Guess the blend of growling and clean voice is typical for the Gothenburg sound, i.e. melodic Heavy metal.
I´m old so it´s not my thing either, but I have to say, after I´ve seen this band live many times, that the concept is very effective live. Starting with growling and then comes the chorus with clean voice. Very nice. And other way is effective too: starting with clean voice and then the Chorus is loud aggressive growling. The whole performance goes up to another level.
