Love the fat, pillowy bass on this. The acoustics sound quite nice. Not convinced it 'needs' drums but perhaps some kind of percussion? Shaker, triangle, or something?

Percussion joining part way through would lift things. Congas or a kit played with brushes, perhaps?

Maybe put a bit of a scoop from 300hz to 1100hz. Not a lot, like maybe a 3db shelve. It just might sound a bit cleaner?

No such thing as a mid shelf, FYI. And that is a MASSIVE suck out of all mids!
