Ah, thanks man. I am trying to get the song completed by the end of January for a mix contest ... will see how that goes.
I strongly recommend trying the free demo from Jam Origin; the plug is certainly a gas, and well worth checking out.

neat, although I'm not sure I'd ever aim for any Linn drum sounds after using one a long time ago, when that was one of the few options available.
