Ah ok. Yeah it's probably not what I would have chosen, but I think it is an upgrade over the 70/80.

The 70/80 wasn't that bad of a speaker IMO for a stock speaker. The three choices I had come down to were the Retro 30, the WGS12L, or the Blackhawk. Guy on the phone recommended the Blackhawk so I went with that. Also the 12L weighed close to 20lbs compared to 9lbs for the Blkhwk and Retro.

From what I've heard from stock DSLs the 70/80 just didn't jive with it. The highs are kinda harsh as it is, but with mine it's workable. Maybe it fit a lot better in the Blackstar.

Maybe it did but then again I'm someone who doesn't mind a lot of treble in my sound but I use a thick pick which rounds out the sound a bit so it evens out tone wise. I think the Blackhawk would be perfect in the DSL.
