New Speaker Suggestions

Heya all

I'm looking for a 10" speaker that allows for maximum clean headroom, so that I'll get a light overdrive when really cranked with a 15 watt tube amp. Are there any speakers that can help with this? Thanks

Sweet. It's supposed to sound similar a d120f JBL.. love that speaker for Fender tone.

I like the Weber 10F125 best when it comes to a ceramic magnet speaker.

To me it sounds very, very much like my original '66 Jensen C10N speakers: the finest cramic magnet 10's Jensen ever made.

If you want one that'll break up a little sooner but still deliver clean tone and deep solid bass and mids, then you might like an alnico magnet speaker. I like Ted's P10RT for early break-up, and the P10Q and the 30 watt P10Q for greater power handling and later break up.

Those are all mentioned in the thread I provided the link to.

get a michigan 10 and say goodbye to fart, and hello to big bass and LOUD sound! I love articulate efficient speakers-let the amp do the talking!
