New Speakers for BF Bandmaster

I'm using my BF Bandmaster again, mostly for jamming in the house only though. Anyway, I'm getting a good clean tone from my 2x12 cab that's loaded with Emi Tonkers. When I use od/distortion though it really lacks warmth. I'm considering changing these speakers as the amp gets great OD tones through my Marshall 4x12. Any suggestions for speaker make and brand? (BTW, I know a 2x12 isn't supposed to have the bass of the 4x12 etc, I'd just like a smoother tone and breakup).

Try to find a set of old Celestion 50-watt twelves. They were amazing in a small Bandmaster 212 I had a few years ago.

Vintage 30's, G12H-30's or G12-65's. Those are my favorites. Mixing one V-30 and one G12H-30 makes for a great tone! Lew

What about Golds for this amp? I've also heard that G12-65's are great, but I've never used them myself. I have a quad of G12H-30's in my Marshall cab, so I'm looking for something a little different.

Alnico Celestions are great speakers but IMO they sound quite thin and far from smooth with BF/SF Fender amps...too much top end.
