New Speakers for my Crate 4x10 cab?

I'm digging my tube set up, but can't help but think it could sound better. So I'm looking to invest a little in the cab to get more out of it. Also it may be something I hold onto for down the road to pair w/ a different head. Which I really like the idea of a few smaller cabs and a few different lower wattage heads. (Over time of course)

The cab is a Nice sounding cab. This is the only amp I've ever paired it with though, but I have to say that it sounds good. The cab Should be a solid wood (that's what I was told at purchase, but can't find much info about it).
It's got a nice punch w/ clear highs and a tight bottom end. It does seem to be a bit Trebly though. Part of that may be the amp too.

I thought of pairing 2 separate sets of 10s to get a versatile tone, and something that will sound good w/ more than just the amp I am using currently. Still I would like to tame the highs I am hearing. I've always been a fan of British voiced amps too. So some speakers to move it in that tonal direction would be cool.

Thanks!

Celestion is releasing a 10-inch version of the Greenback speaker really soon/already. I'm kind of excited about that, and considering getting either a Pro Junior or a Princeton of some kind just to try one out, and get a cool smaller home tube amp with the Greenback tone I love so much.

I'm all for mixed speakers. I'd be temped to try four different ones simultaneously if I had a 4x10. In that case you can cover the tonal spectrum all the more. I've gone through many speakers, just a part of the tone quest, you know? The Tone Tubby Alnico is a little bit darker than the average, A bit pricey but a good sounding speaker(and resale value) if you find your current setup is too bright. You can always start with one to sound check it first, cuz this can be costly.
