New Stack Plus pickups...which do you like?

I recently went to SD's recent products page, and it looks like they've released several new Stack Plus pickups, including Hot and Vintage hot. What have you played, and what do you like?

I have the Classic Stack Plus in one of my Strats in the neck and middle position. They sound incredible. They're the only noiseless singles I have experience with in the Duncan line but I am very happy with them. A Screamin' Demon is in the bridge.

What do you have coming Johnny?

I went for two Classic Stacks and a Custom Stack for the bridge. They will be here in a few days... would take some time to put them on the guitar and test them properly.

Nice! That's actually a lineup I was considering for a Strat...would you let me know how it turns out?

i think it's pretty cool how these guys figured out that you can make a noiseless single coil. Innovation. I bet Seth Lover never thought of stacking.

From what I've read the Custom sounds interesting. I hope you'll post some sound clips of that one.

I have the Tele Vintage Stack in the bridge of my Nashville Tele, with a Classic Stack Plus Strat in the middle. I'm waiting on a second Classic Stack Plus for the neck (to replace the SM-1 I used to have in there).

I haven't finished dialing the guitar in yet (obviously, since it's missing a pickup), but I'm favorably impressed with the Stacks. Take this for what it's worth, since I'm swapping pickups in and out of the same guitar as opposed to A/Bing two different guitars, but I think I lost a bit of sparkle when I went from an SSL-1 to the STK-S4 in the middle. Hard to tell. Most of that, I brought back with a no-load tone pot.

If I was playing authentic twangy country, I might feel differently, but for my pop/rock on a Tele thang, the stacks are great pickups. Certainly, the complete lack of hum is a huge plus that far outweighs any small loss of tone.
