New Strat Day!!!

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
Meet my other Strat - Emerald Coast!

I got over all of the Vintage crap and went with my original vision...also 20+ years in the making/realization.

2018 Fender American Elite; 2 gen4 Noiseless, Shawbucker bridge, S1 switching, locking tuners, 2 point trem. I freaking love that little 'blow' button for HB direct to out!

That's the right kind of strat for making music now. Has all the improvements that are needed now but still retains what makes a strat worth having.

Elite wiring with S1 and Super switch is killer. Have it on SSS, not sure what the HSS configuration might be.

Very similar to my Kiesel Delos. It has become a real workhorse for me and as of now is my most played guitar. Cool guitar man!

I'd especially like to hear how all three pickups in series sounds. That must be thick.

There is no "all three" (4) in series option. Closest is S1 in, with position 3 on the switch. But it's close, but there is parallel in the mix.

Position 1 is middle + bridge in series though, and yes, it definitely thickens the mix. Very cool rhythm sound. You can go p1 and play the s1 down, then release it for a more cutting HB only, and hit the blower for direct and more HB power. Or just hit the little button to go direct for leads.

I have a 1980 'The Strat' which can have all 3 in series. It is thick, but not in a very good way. I realized I don't like traditional single coils in series at all.

In this diagram, it sure looks like there is a setting where all three pickups are on, while in series.

S1 on, position 3 looks like it, but isn't. There is a little footnote that says "In Parallel with Neck Pickup"
