Re: New Stuff Rocks!!!

cool man, i'm thinking of gettin one of those Blues Jr's, just not sure if it will be loud enough for me in my band

Re: New Stuff Rocks!!!

the ashdown is a small stack for practicing with at home and playing at church and small gigs it's only 65 watts but it's so sweet lookin that i couldn't pass it up! if me and the guys at my new church get going with a band later i'll get something bigger, but this is absolutely perfect for home!

"Based on the amplifier design of the award-winning Perfect Ten combo, but sporting a more powerful 65-Watt output – the Perfect Ten head is partnered by two 10" cabinets to create the P10 MiniRig - a true miniature powerhouse.

Conceived as a home or practice set-up, the Perfect Ten MiniRig actually packs enough muscle to hold its own in small gigs, far outstripping standard practice amps in both quality and flexibility.

The feature set is typically Ashdown, providing all the essential controls you’ll need in an intuitive and logical layout. Input and Output Gain controls are standard, along with a three-band rotary tone control section (Treble, Middle and Bass), plus the bass response can be instantly extended by way of a simple ‘Deep’ switch.

A front panel CD input means you can play along with pre-recorded backing tracks, while also doubling as a line output for recording situations. If noise is an issue then the headphone output allows silent practicing, and a classic Ashdown VU meter lets you keep an eye on your levels.

Durability is further enhanced by the use of tough protective corners and heavy duty covering, and the whole package is rounded off by the inclusion of all speaker cables – meaning the Perfect Ten rig is ready to play straight out of the box."

it's gonna feel good to actually have amps to play through again and i'm looking sooooo forward to finally getting started on finding my "sound" and getting better at playing electric guitar and polishing up on my bass lines...my acoustics are gonna miss me!:laugh2:

Re: New Stuff Rocks!!!

That's great! The Blues Junior will not dissapoint, especially because the blondeness makes it sound better! :laugh2:

That Tech-21 OD pedal looks really cool as well. Never heard of it before.

Re: New Stuff Rocks!!!

You're the man Mike! :)

And yes, FenderStratRock3 is right, blonde definitely sounds better than those other colors ;)
