Darkness on the edge of Tone
Added another synth to my humble collection: the Arturia MiniBrute Red. Man, this is a smokin' little machine! Got to play it for a little bit last night; no shift key/menus makes for a refreshing way to dial in sounds. I love the dope sheets/preset shrouds, too; very clever way to underline what this synth is about.
Takes a good 10 minutes to stabilize from a cold start, and the tone of the synth definitely warms up as the machine itself does.
Am very much looking forward to using this on upcoming recordings ... I am definitely in need of a MIDI splitter or switcher now to handle the synths, controllers, and step sequencers.
Sorry about the soft focus:

Arturia continues to impress with the quality, fit, and finish of their products. I now own several of their products and quirks/limitations aside, I really love all of them --
(Software) V Collection 4, Spark
(Hardware) MiniBrute, BeatStep, Beatstep Pro
