Re: New Tele Build Day

If I ever get another Stratocaster, I will do it the same way. The look and feel of this is absolutely perfect. All for the cost of a MIM Standard!

Re: New Tele Build Day

Just helped a mate put together a 62 relic with the exact same body but using an Allparts
reliced rosewood fret board, correct for the 62 and all other reliced corresponding parts.
Pickups are Duncan Antiquities and he even got a 62 serial number neck plate.

Just note, there are some exposed wood parts on the body that can do do with extra
coffee and oil stains to give it the more authentic look. He also has the correct logo on the headstock.

I have never been a fan of relics but my mate's project really changed my mind if you go all the way
and try to emulate every detail.

Nice project mate!

Re: New Tele Build Day

Hi - I am just wondering if anyone here knows where to get a telecaster body template?

Re: New Tele Build Day

Final pics will probably be tonight. I had to have a pro set it up because of the truss rod setup from Warmoth and the 3 barrel saddles. I can do a Strat and a Les Paul... Confounded Tele has me all confused...
