I think the headless look is interesting but ultimately not my style. If I were 25 y/o I’d probably love the headless but at 49, not so much. Lol

the neck pup placement on a 21 or 22 fret guitar is the same. ive swapped a mim 21 fret neck for a mia 22 fret neck a bunch

I’ve owned 4 Carvin guitars circa 2005-2011 and they were awesome. Always solidly built, and they were among the first to use stainless frets as a semi-normal option. I wish I had my old Goldtop single cut.

Ever played one? I have two imports, and the tuning stability is insane. Also, they weight nothing, but sound and play great.

My issue is the visual aspect. When I move up the neck above the 12th fret, the fretboard plays tricks on me!! Lol

I never have actually.
Most of them look like tiny guitars. Maybe it’s just because the lack of a headstock but I’m a fairly big guy so a small guitar just looks funny on me. Lol

The bolt on's and set neck guitars like the CT and SC lines all have the option of 22 or 24 frets the neck through guitars I think are all just 24 frets. I'm so used to playing 24 frets now I have to adjust when I don't have 24 now so--.

They have 2 different neck profiles they use.

This is true. Super light, balanced, and (at least my Steinberger) has the most stable tuning of any of my guitars. The actual headless body designs of the Kiesels are not my thing, though.

Oh...most Kiesels are 24 frets? Didn't know that.
Though you were going down the 'a Tele pickup doesn't sound right unless 22 frets'. and I was like a vintage Tele only has 21?!?!?!

They have neck thickness options in the standard thin and thick profiles. I have owned guitars with all 3 profiles and prefer the thin can live with the standard and don't care for the thick.

The neck through are mostly 24 frets the set necks and bolt on guitars can be ordered in both 22 or 24 frets and they also have a number of different scale lengths including multi scales. Every Carvin Kiesel is a custom build and is built to order have been for many years. They also have never sold retail and the company is older than Fender (1946) and is still owned by the founding Kiesel family. Have been playing Carvin Kiesel guitars on stage since the late 80's. Nothing on earth will come out of the case on the road and play night after night with no drama like a Carvin Kiesel. Kiesel and Music Man have the absolute best fretwork and consistent attention to detail in the industry bar none.

The standard board option is ebony but yes, the pic looks like roasted maple
