Needs some strings, and final adjustments, but " Abe " is ready to roll.... My typical mishmash of scruffy adornments is in no shortage on this one. I dig em just a lil ugly.... Water stained, along with a vinegar pickle, and some fire, created this. I like the body, as well as some of your other similar builds. What's the story on the neck?

They story on the neck is that I set it on fire... lol.... I am a sucker for a big strat headstock on a Tele, so I found some good templates and cut the headstock. Hit it with a vinegar pickle, then the butcher block oil, which goes on kinda sticky, but rubs down to a very smooth finish. All in all it is a pretty non toxic guitar, I could eat off it... No oil stains, lacquer, ect... If I could find a way to wire it up out of dental floss, I would really be onto green mojo...

Looking nice. I like that it has a bit of the Ugly on it. Gives it amazing character IMHO.

Thanks guys!! I got some strings on her, and the neck dialed in, now just kinda letting it stew, for the next neck adjustment. I love a butcher block neck, so SMOOTH once buffed in...

I like all of my guitars pristine, shiny, unscratched, and like a million bucks. But I have to admit that that Tele has a certain charm to it that makes it irresistible.

Nice job, I like what you've done to it. I bet it's gonna be fun to play.

Know about me is that I don't have the patience to be pristine, I never have. Most of my pursuits creatively tend to be a lil rough around the edges, be it cooking, making music, or scruffin up a guitar. Very cool, I love them. They look so rustic and organic, kind of like the wooden equivalent of a Trussart!
