The SM-3n sounds great in a Tele -- great match with a slightly overwound vintage Tele bridge pup like the Nocaster or JD -- but I think the Ant. I flatpole would work well, too. I haven't heard the SM-1n, but I'm not convinced that there would be a huge difference between these two neck pickups.

I also just bought a pewter Tele HS with rosewood board. I really like the stock Atomic II HB in it, but I'm looking for a a replacement at the bridge. I think the JD might work, but I'm leaning toward the STL-2 Hot Tele at the moment. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind getting a hum-canceling Tele lead pickup for a change.
These are really nice guitars at blowout prices.
