New three way locking system for Floyd users

Re: New three way locking system for Floyd users

^Yep - (The Tremololock) Looks like not only a modification to the body, also the bridge. Too complicated.

Tremol-no worked fine for me the short time I had it in my hands.

I have it on one of my guitars, doesn't need any permanent modification to the guitar, just replace the current claw with it

One caveat however is that it isn't spring-loaded so if you have it unlocked and break a string then you can't return to pitch after the fact

Just squeeze in a piece of wood just the right size on either side of the block. Cheap, easy, reversible.

Well i'm waiting to with hold my judgement till it actually comes out. As for other methods doing the same thing yes they can but their not as easy to switch back and forth from all three modes. Only the Tremo-No makes it the easiest and even then you have to reach around to the back of the cavity and can't have a backplate on. With this you could choose to have a back plate or not and it on the front of the guitar right by your picking hand so it would be quicker and easier from the looks of it.

I'm curious as to what the finished product will look like.
