Hey Keith, thanks for the welcome and who the hell is Jerry???? haha
Beginner with guitar, just paid for 8 months of 1 hour weekly lessons. About to start next week. I have been trying to learn on my own.
Music, I like the Black Crowes, Kings of Leon, T.Rex, Aerosmith, Dylan, Young, and lots of other current stuff.
Now gear I do have a problem with. They're like works of art to me.
Here goes: Fender- (Teles) Squire Affinity, Sp.Ed.Spalted Maple,Sp.Ed.Lite Ash,American Deluxe Series,QMT HH,Tele Deluxe HH,Squire Deryk Whibley H,Squire 51,Muddy Waters,Baja,MIM Standard,Frankenstein Tele Deadwood Esquire,Squire CV, B.C. Rich Bich, Washburn Obey, Washburn Murder Axe,Hagstrom Suede,Rondo SX-JMS.
Because of a thread in this forum, I'm about to put a deposit on a Jim Root tele.
Now tell me a little about you???

I'm guessing "Hugo" is meant to apply to your gear collection. Wow! That's a lot of gear for a newbie, but I'm sure it's very inspiring. Do you play any other instruments?
This isn't my thread, so I'll keep the stuff about myself brief. I've been playing for a little over twenty years, which looking back seems a lot longer than it feels. I'm into everything from classic rock to prog metal, jazz, blues, classical, klezmer—you name it! I'm currently in a Tool tribute band. My favorite band of all time is The Beatles. Although I play my Les Paul the most, I'm probably most into my SG Classic or G&L ASAT.
Also, I'm a pink unicorn horsey.
Jerry's a nice guy who recently left the forum for personal reasons after creating a bit of drama. You'll learn more about him over time.

Welcome Hugo.... great collection to start playing with.... but you'll soon regret thinking about mod'ing once you start replacing pick ups as you've got loas of guitars to play with! Lol... the majority of folks on here really know their stuff, THE most informative place IMO.
