Unbelieveable pawn shop score today guys. I picked up a Schecter C-1 30th anniversary edition today for $329 and change!! Ya, I know WTF?! The plastic coating is still on the pickups and on the back electronics panel. This thing is flawless except for a nickel size cloudy spot (pick or fingernail scuffs?) near the neck pickup under the high e string. I don't know if you know these axes, but it is maple neck through mahogany with flamed maple cap, cream binding on body neck and headstock, sperzel tuners, and Duncan custom custom and '59 set with engraved covers and an ebony fretboard w\ m.o.p. eagle inlay at the 12th fret. I am as giddy as a school girl, I still cant believe it, this is my score of a lifetime. I recently had the employees at a local GC calling me "Schecter man" because I would stop by there and play the C1s on slow work days(I travel for work). Married with kids my hopes of adding a Schecter to the arsenal was fleeting, I never thought I would end up with one of the best c1s available. Just.......wow. I will post pics this weekend. Had to tell someone, the wife doesn't get it.:biglaugh::bowdown:

Wow, that is a score so amazing that puts a whole new meaning to the word amazing...
Don't worry man, I TOTALLY get how cool as hell this is.
BTW, did I say how much I hate you right now?:D

Just yesterday I was fawning over an amazing C-1 Hellraiser, and I didn't even like the EMGs it had!!!
I don't get C-1 necks. They're definitely chunky (well, maybe not for someone that's been playing Fender Strats or Gibson LPs) but they almost feel as good as an Ibanez Wizard neck.
REALLY comfortable and fast. D@mn fast. I JUST don't get it!

I even A/Bed the thing with an LTD with half the neck it had and yet I went back to the C-1 so fast it would make your neck hurt:9:

So, what I'm trying to say is, d@mn great score man!!!

Nice! Every single one of those that I've seen has been a stunner, for sure, and play just as well-even the poorly setup guitars in GC. Great score!

Don't really know much about those guitars.... but you obviously do, so BIG congrats to you! Pics?? Any new gear should be an exciting day.... enjoy my friend.

Hope you love your Scehcter as much as I love mine. They're one company where I wouldn't mind owning any of their guitars, I like them all.

Thanks for the kudos guys, I'm still geeking out. when I first saw it it had a $400 sticker on it and I asked the clerk "does this come with a case for this price?" and he says "no but if you take it rght now I'll let you have it for $300." I was beside myself. I said hold it for 15 minutes while I run to the bank.I didn't have my debit card on me(go figure). So after a quick plug in I run to the bank and back, he charged me an extra 9 bucks holding charge (to hold it for the 15 minutes:rolleyes:) +tax. As he was takin' the cash he says a guy heard me playing and the quoted price and was begging to buy it as soon as I left for the bank. Anyways, I think my guitar gas is satisfied for a while, now the amp gas, thats another story. :biglaugh:I'll get pics on here soon.

yeah the ladies almost never get it do they? my girl doesnt see a reason for having a guitar with 6, 7, and 12 strings.... she just thinks its more complicated:18:. explaining to her the difference between my iceman and my semi was as pointless as her explaining to me what "coture" meant. really whats the point of clothes youre not supposed to wear?:hijacked::lmao:

Ah, now I remember!
Starting this year they're doing this as a production guitar, the Hollywood Classic.
It's basically that same guitar minus the engraved pu covers.

However, knowing that you got the special limited first run and for THAT price... Priceless.

You know we're very happy for you man, albeit a tad sad for sothing like this never happening to ourselves.
Bah, that's human nature for you.

What matters is that this is a happy time and it will get even happier once you've uploaded those photos :32:
