Hi to all,

I'm building my first strat, and need wire diagram help. Can I tap a quaterpound bridge at the tone pot?

The switch is independent of the pot it's connected to. So yes, just follow the QP diagram to wire up the switch. Which would be red wire to the middle terminal, and ground to the terminal above it. That is, the terminal closest to the pot.

The QP digram taps the coil before the 5way with a spdt mini switch. I am asking how to tap at the tone pot, after the 5way.

You can't. You have to do it before the 5 way.

But Artie said that the switch is independent of the tone pot, even if the switch is mounted on the tone pot.

So think of it as being the same as a spdt mini and wire it according to the diagram.
