New too Tube amps...C30

I've just got a Peavey Classic 30. I was just wondering...



Is it natural for the tubes to slightly buzz on low bassy notes? I was guessing that they would but its not good for them in the long run..

Also I think the 3 tubes are the preamp tubes, but are they supposed to glow much? Mine only do the tinniest smallest bit!

btw its a great little amp! It gives my friend's Mode Four a run for its money! Dam loud! And I dont understand why it cant be used for metal? I do! Sounds great!

I believe I've heard of this before, there should be something on eBay to keep them from rattling.

I was told this by the owner of Matchless amps. If tubes rattle, and you can hear the transient noise through your speaker, buy a tube of silicon glue (heat resistant) and run a stripe of it around each tube. It won't burn, but it'll dampen all of that noise.
