now all it needs is a decent set of higher output single coils

just a rant. i almost always like the circa 80s mij fenders. real bang for the buck quality instruments. what really stopped me from spending a bomb is the neck. my fingers don't really agree with 7.25 radius and skinny and low vintage frets.

i still hate you though! :rocket:

yea mid 80s MIJ fenders are bang for the buck, even the squiers...
I almost bought a H-H JV squier too .... thankfully I didnt

a good condition used mij fender from the 80s will cost about sgd$ 700 and up iirc.

I got that Squier by trading my Tremonti SE for it , it was goin for $600(US$300).
The JV series would fetch a little bit more, abt $900(US$450)?

The Fender MIJs fetch around that price range too, but I haven seen any circa 80s MIJ Fenders around, pretty much most of em in the market are from the 90s and 00s

the tremonti ses' are going at insane prices off evil bay. i have seen some winnings in excess of usd$500!

yea they got insanely popular after PRS stop producing single cuts, but Im not a fan of the fat neck.
