So. Turns out there is endless info out there on tubes. As someone who has never looked into this kind of stuff it was a lot to take in. However I think I have decided on a few things and would like to hear what you guys think.
Stock in tubemeister 18
Pre-amp tubes: Chinese 12ax7B
Power tubes: Chinese EL84
Replacements
Ting-sol 12ax7
JJ EL84
I'm not necessarily "chasing" a particular tone but I bought the amp used in December and it still has the stock tubes. One of the pre tubes is clouded at the bottom and I figure that's probably not good.
