hey man, no it was the amp modeling on Garageband, not to bad eh? As for the crate, it's gotta be one of the best amp's Ive bought in that price range and wasn't used.

It sounds good. Reminds me of Santana in the sixties. I think it will even sound better if you add the bass part to it, or if you have the bass part already, may be you can turn it up more. I would also add vibrato to the sustained notes if I played it, but that is a personal preference. The 11ths sounded a little bit odd and I heard the leading tone not resolved to the tonic; it is also my personal preference.Very good picking if you have not practice this tune a lot. Like it. Thumbs up.

By the way, what gears were you using?
