New Warmoth Build - Test Drive / Mincer Content

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
So, someone has to play the lovely breezy evenings in gorgeous sunsets at awesome killer creole food places...the struggle of living in Florida is real.

Me & my girl set up shop on the patio behind the stage at the brewery next door. Do you recognize that guitar player?

I could have posted this in Tips & clips, Soundoff, or Guitar. Could have also went in the Pickup lounge for the None-More-Blacker Seths in it.
I went for guitar. Here is mincer effortlessly shredding it up with some uber-tatsy clean licks last night.

Warmoth guitar > Line 6 > Little Fender Amp (Deluxe?). Dave can give the details...

Indeed, they are tasty. Dave has a light touch, I see. Still waiting to hear him playing that Eastman.... He promised a long time ago.

I did notice Mincer's deft change from Neck humbucker for 90% of the solo, to Bridge humbucker for the last run of the solo.

Would like to see more of the new git. The finish lools cool. Can't make out the pattern in the finish on the top. Almost looks like birdseye maple?

Yeah - spent my time drinking, listening & chatting when light. Figured I needed to get some vid before we left...sorry!

Haha, thanks all!

I will add some good pics to my thread when I take them. I am waiting for some good morning sun, which seems to have the best light. Saturday was a weird night, in that we had set up...saw the rain clouds coming, completely tore everything down and then set everything back up again. It was good to see Ace and his girl on going out on a night off.

Nice. But that video was way too short. Nice pic of the Florida sunset too. Wish I was there. (Oh wait. I am.) :D

You went with a chambered body and roasted maple neck to minimize weight, right? Remind me which tremolo you used and do you have a final weight?

Yes, chambered body and roasted neck (scalloped, Gibson scale).
The trem is a Wilkinson VS100. I actually haven't weighed it yet. It is a little heavier than my Music Man Silhouette Special, which is 6lbs, 10oz.

I re-set it up for a set of 10s, which feels and sounds better on this particular instrument for tonight's show at the Hard Rock
