New Yamaha THR100H & HD heads

I like the sounds of it in the video below. 100W, reverb, three od's built in, IR loading ability & a number of power tube type simulation options. At $600 for the single & $800 for the dual, not bad i think if its reliable since coming from yamaha. I wonder if it will be available in combo form later.

Anyone preorder one yet?

neat - is Line 6 involved in this now or is that a separate thing? I was wondering when they were gonna head-ify their little amps.

I never have high hopes for Yamaha, but I guess it's a decent little amp. With all those highgain models, you'd probably be better off with a head/cab configuration.

What I really want is that Andertons/Jack Daniels T Shirt. ha

The best part of that video was the ending where they compare the mic'd sound with the direct sound.

There arent many models of amp in these, just 5 or 6 i think with options to choose the output tube type. No presets, cant save anything on it, just the knobs & rotary switches. Looks like they wanted this to be bare bones simple for live use i guess. A good competition for the roland blues cube if one already has a cab or could go direct with it too.

Not likely, L6 has their Helix unit upcoming so i would guess these are using different modelling software or hardware.
